This Manzanilla Pasada is delightfully aromatic with reminiscences of green apples and the characteristic hint of sea breeze.
The Solera of this Manzanilla Pasada consists of 80 casks, which are aged in Manuel Cuevas Jurado’s bodegas in “Calle Trabajadero” (Trabajadero St.) in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Pale straw colour, this Manzanilla Pasada is delightfully aromatic with reminiscences of green apples and the characteristic hint of sea breeze. Dry, fresh and light, yet with a good body and a refreshing acidity.

"Although it is often associated with Amontillado, Manzanilla Pasada doesn’t lose its veil of flor. Instead, that veil becomes thinner over time, allowing a slight oxidation that transforms both the color and the flavor, as in this deliciously savory example from Lustau’s Almacenista line. It’s filled with sea-salt notes, sweet spices and candied fruit details. The finish is shockingly dry, even as the wine is juicy and easy to drink, ready for sea urchins scooped right from their shells."

"This has a broad edge, with lightly browned butter, singed almond, dried orange peel and walnut notes mixed together. Ends with a taut, dry finish. Drink now."
