Tasting Notes: The vineyards selected for the ‘Cachet’ all display exceptional and individual vineyard and varietal characteristics. The final blend is put together from the best fractions of lightly pressed wines to give firm yet velvety tannins and mouthfeel. An intensely complex nose, displaying integrated primary and tertiary flavours of cassis, stewed plum and cured meats entwined with hints of wild mint, red fruits and potpourri. On the palate, the wine displays supple savoury tannins with superb weight and softness.
